As a mid-level Product Designer, you'll create innovative solutions that redefine customer experiences with our energy data platform. You'll validate your work directly with customers and collaborate with developers using modern technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Design Excellence: Deliver high-quality, user-centred designs that balance customer needs with business objectives.
  • Customer Focus: Conduct research and develop deep customer insights to create best-in-class, innovative user experiences.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Partner with product owners and stakeholders to ensure design decisions are informed by user research and business strategy.
  • Design System: Contribute to and evolve our enterprise design system, ensuring consistency across our product ecosystem.
  • Cross-functional Partnership: Work closely with Product, Engineering, and QA teams in an agile environment.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in UX/Product Design with a strong portfolio showcasing interface design and UX process.
  • Proven experience in collaborative product team environments.
  • Full UX design process expertise: user research, information architecture, wireframing, prototyping, visual design, and usability testing.
  • Agile development methodology experience.
  • Research & Testing: Comfortable planning and conducting usability tests, writing test plans, and translating insights into design decisions.
  • Workshop Facilitation: Confident leading and participating in UX workshops and design sprints.
  • Communication: Excellent ability to articulate design rationale and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Tools: Proficiency with Figma and Dovetail (or equivalent tools like Sketch, InVision, Adobe CS).
  • Stakeholder Management: Experience managing discussions with internal and external stakeholders.
