As the Lead Product Designer, you will design user-friendly interfaces for AI voice agents, transforming complex expert tools into accessible solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on user needs and technical feasibility.
Responsibilities
- Design for complexity, simplify for scale: Lead the design of interfaces for expert users and future non-experts.
- Drive end-to-end product design: From research and ideation to wireframes, flows, high-fidelity UI, prototyping, and validation.
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with Product, Engineering, and AI teams.
- Balance technical depth with usability: Translate technical AI concepts into intuitive interaction models and visualizations.
- Champion UX strategy: Drive user research efforts, synthesize findings, and contribute to long-term vision.
- Prototype future thinking: Explore speculative UX for long-term vision of AI agent creation.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience designing digital products, including 3+ years on expert tools, complex systems, or technical platforms.
- Systems Thinker: Comfortable working on multi-layered systems with multiple user roles.
- Design Mastery: Strong interaction and visual design skills, proficient in Figma.
- Technical Fluency: Comfortable working alongside engineers and product managers in technical environments.
- Research-Driven: Experience conducting or contributing to user research, usability testing, and data-informed design decisions.
- Degree in Design, HCI, Psychology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong communication and influence skills.
- Adaptability and Initiative: Thrives in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities.
Key Skills
- Experience designing configuration tools, scripting interfaces, or workflow builders.
- Knowledge of voice technologies or telephony ecosystems.
- Experience working on design systems in a scaling team.
