Senior Staff Product Designer, Gusto Pro

Lead the experience direction for a product area within Gusto Pro and be involved in the entire product development process. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product strategy and ship projects that deliver value to customers.
Responsibilities
- Work with leadership team to define a long-term UX vision for your product area.
- Co-lead the definition of product strategy, roadmap, team OKRs, and project direction.
- Work with cross-functional partners to understand customer problems and identify key opportunities.
- Ship both net new and iterative projects that deliver consistent value to customers.
- Contribute to Gusto’s product design leadership community by sharing skills and experience.
- Champion design system and platform standards, and help evolve them.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software product design experience, preferably in B2B SaaS.
- Builder mindset with demonstrated experience as an individual contributor design leader.
- Comfort with complexity in leading the design of approachable, guiding products in complex domains.
- Product acumen with comfort working with executive stakeholders.
- High quality bar with experience maintaining design quality while shipping iteratively.
- Experience with or curiosity about designing for AI.
Benefits
- Cash compensation range: $146,000/yr to $183,000/yr in Denver & most remote locations, and $177,000/yr to $222,000/yr in San Francisco, Seattle & New York.
- Equity based compensation (ownership in Gusto).
