We Write Code is hiring a UI/UX Designer & Front-End Developer to take ownership of the experience provided to clients, involving design and development throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Create wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity functional prototypes for a variety of projects across many industries.
- Consult with the development team to ensure your work is within scope.
- Get user feedback and iterate.
- Use your coding skills to make the final pass on our products, ensuring the front-end experience is glossy.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience designing digital applications
- Solid understanding of product design, usability, and basic design principles — as evidenced by your portfolio (please send us a link!)
- Experience working directly with clients to gather requirements, and understand user workflow
- Proficiency in design software such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or comparable
- Front-end development experience working with Angular, CSS, JavaScript and HTML
- Solid communication skills; ability to question and understand complex functionality
