Kaseya’s Product Designers create functional and visually appealing designs to meet business needs and enhance user experiences. They collaborate with various teams to define user stories, prototype solutions, and optimize the user experience of the company’s products.
Responsibilities
- Participate in and lead design initiatives for the company's modules; collaborate on other UX initiatives
- Work with Product Management to define and prioritize user stories and functional business requirements; assist in roadmap planning and in the company's overall UX strategy
- Translate user stories into functional business requirements and simple, easy-to-use design concepts
- Work with Engineering and Product Management teams to define, analyze, and prototype software solutions
- Create and document storyboards and prototypes illustrating product features and business workflows, to communicate with multiple departments
- Provide elegant and simple design solutions that offer enhanced functionality while maintaining the integrity of the existing products
- Proactively identify opportunities to optimize the UX of the company's products
- Deliver enjoyable User Experience visions, accurate UI specifications, and prototypes
Requirements
- 2 years of experience in User Experience / User Interface design; developing consumer-facing applications and responsive web UX designs
- Strong understanding of UX / UI Design principles, and an ingrained sense of what makes an effective, delightful user experience
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, creativity, and multi-tasking ability
- Ability to receive constructive critique of work and use it to improve quality
- Ability to be part of a team and handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong persuasive communication skills, with the ability to "sell" product visions and concepts to peers up through Executives
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment, often under aggressive deadlines
- Understanding of AI concepts and how they can be used to create exceptional UXs
- Strong working knowledge of Figma
- Experience contributing to design systems / component libraries
- Knowledge of the MSP (managed service provider) space is a strong plus
