A UI/UX Designer role for forensic and investigative applications in Chantilly, requiring a senior-level candidate with experience in complex enterprise applications and security clearances.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement intuitive user interfaces for complex data analysis and visualization tools.
- Work with development teams to build mock-ups of intuitive interfaces.
- Review user experience feedback and implement improvements.
- Develop and maintain style guides and design systems.
- Implement responsive designs based on current best practices.
- Ensure 508 compliance for all user interfaces.
- Participate in Program Increments (PIs) and Agile Release Train (ART) activities.
- Collaborate with backend teams to ensure seamless integration between UI and data services.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.
- Develop user flows and journey maps to optimize the user experience.
Requirements
- Senior-Level Expert-level Proficiency With Advanced UI/UX design principles and methodologies.

- Experience with Angular, React, or other modern frontend frameworks.

- Enterprise application design.
- Senior-Level Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in UI/UX design.
- Active Top Secret (TS) clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).
- Experience with SAFe Agile framework.
- Strong understanding of forensic and investigative application requirements.
- Demonstrated experience designing complex enterprise applications.
- Portfolio showcasing advanced UI/UX design work.
