Onsite Full-time Senior
Sportswift Ltd T/A cardfactory is seeking a Senior Designer to join their Studio team, focusing on product design and development for gift packaging, bags, wrap, party supplies, and cards.
Responsibilities
- Be involved in researching trends and coming up with ideas for future collections, as well as leading new product development projects from start to finish
- Create commercially strong designs and style guides for all kinds of gift products—packaging, bags, wrap, party items, and cards
- Rework existing artwork into finished products, so having solid technical skills and knowing how to prep files for print is key
- Communicate clearly with both the team and external partners
- Play a hands-on role in mentoring and sharing knowledge within the studio
Requirements
- Gifting, gift bags, wrap, party, greeting card experience preferred
- Plenty of enthusiasm for creativity and design
- Versatile design skillset
- Strong typesetting skills
- Strong knowledge of print limitations and experience of using finishes
- Highly proficient in design software - Adobe Creative Suite, esp. Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
- High level of 3D technical knowledge for product and packaging templates and setup
