Lead end-to-end design projects for mobile and web applications, collaborating with product managers and engineers. Mentor junior design team members and contribute to shaping the design function within the company.
Responsibilities
- Independently lead end-to-end design projects from concept through execution.
- Collaborate with PMs and engineers to translate product requirements into user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
- Deliver both flow-level interactions and pixel-perfect UI polish.
- Design visualizations that are understandable and usable by diverse user groups, including those with accessibility needs.
- Rapidly prototype and test ideas to inform product direction and decisions.
- Partner with research and product teams to validate solutions through usability testing and iteration.
- Own and evolve our design system and visualization standards.
- Mentor, support, and empower junior design team members.
- Contribute to shaping the design function within the company.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a Design field, HCI, or related field.
- 7+ years of design experience for mobile and web applications.
- Ability to translate complex problems into intuitive designs.
- Experience defining and expanding design systems.
- Expertise in Figma and compatible plugins.
- Comfortable working in close collaboration with product managers, engineers, and customer advisories.
- Strong communication and storytelling skills.
- Curious and adaptable, team-oriented, and customer-focused approach.
