Lead UX Designer (remote)

The Lead UX Designer will shape the future of digital tax products by guiding experience strategy and mentoring designers. This role involves collaborating with product and engineering teams to deliver intuitive user experiences.
Responsibilities
- Lead set design direction and elevate standards across digital products
- Mentor and grow other designers
- Guide teams through ambiguity and drive toward clarity and alignment
- Partner with Product and Engineering to define requirements, align on user needs, and shape product strategy
- Champion design system, ensuring consistency, scalability, and long-term cohesion
- Facilitate workshops and ideation sessions
- Conduct user research and translate insights into designs
- Present and advocate for design decisions with stakeholders and clients
Requirements
- 7–10 years of product/UX design experience
- End-to-end ownership of complex workflows
- Proven ability to lead and mentor designers
- Strong portfolio showcasing both UI and UX
- Mastery of modern design tools (Figma)
- Familiarity with research tools (e.g., Maze)
- Solid understanding of design systems
