The Website UX Designer will guide the UX process from discovery through wireframes and prototypes, focusing on user-centered experiences for marketing and e-commerce websites. They will collaborate with product managers, UI designers, and developers to ensure the website meets business goals and user needs.
Responsibilities
- Build medium-fidelity wireframes in Figma that emphasize content hierarchy and usability
- Create prototypes that demonstrate interactions and functional logic for handoff to UI designers and developers
- Deliver content-first wireframes—annotated where needed—to show intentional structure, not just placeholders
- Support creation of sitemaps and content outlines for new websites
- Contribute to content priority guides and documentation that ensure UX and content are aligned
- Help identify gaps in content that may impact user flows or usability
- Translate business goals and audience insights into user journeys, flows, and page structures
- Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops to uncover requirements and align on goals
- Create clear, strategic, and actionable UX audits that lead to better user experiences and business outcomes
- Partner with design, development, and strategy teams to bring user-first solutions to life
- Confidently present wireframes, prototypes, and rationale to clients
- Communicate the value of UX decisions regarding usability, ROI, and business impact
Requirements
- 2–4+ years of UX design experience focused on marketing and e-commerce websites, ideally within an agency or other fast-paced environment
- Strong expertise in Figma for wireframing and prototyping full websites
- Proven ability to translate business goals and content priorities into site architecture, user flows, and interaction patterns
- Familiarity with content planning and working alongside content strategy
- Excellent facilitation and communication skills
- A systems thinker who can balance user needs, content requirements, and technical feasibility
