The Staff Product Designer will evolve the platform's foundation and drive cross-product cohesion while setting a high bar for design quality. This role involves collaborating with Product Designers, Engineers, and Product Managers to shape user experiences across various touchpoints.

Responsibilities

  • Help craft the future of the Lattice Platform, covering a wide variety of critical user touchpoints including navigation, homepages, mobile app strategy, the design system, and more.
  • Play a key role in evolving the platform’s foundation, driving cross-product cohesion, and setting a high bar for design quality across the suite.
  • Partner with a world-class group of Product Designers, Engineers, and Product Managers, while also serving as a trusted voice and advocate for craft across multiple areas of the design team.
  • Shape how thousands of organizations function every day.

Requirements

  • Deep expertise in designing complex, cross-product workflows with a track record of simplifying systems that span multiple surfaces and touchpoints.
  • Expert-level understanding of visual and interaction design, including typography, hierarchy, spacing, grids, and responsive layouts.
  • Proven experience designing for responsive systems at scale, ensuring solutions work seamlessly across devices, screen sizes, and contexts.
  • Trusted partner across multiple product areas, collaborating with their immediate pod partners to level up team processes and maintain a high quality bar while also influencing roadmaps, platform direction, and broader product strategy.
  • Strong systems thinking and design system expertise, comfortable designing within an established system but also evolving, extending, and creating new patterns to meet emerging customer needs.
  • Proven experience shaping design direction at scale, working closely with User Research and cross-functional partners to identify problem spaces, articulate solutions, and lead adoption of changes across products or teams.
  • High-quality execution and stewardship, ensuring designs are implemented with rigor and consistency, providing direction to other designers and engineers where necessary.
  • A champion of feedback culture, regularly giving feedback that elevates other designers’ work, mentors teammates, and models transparency in sharing and iterating on design.
