CoreStar seeks a design engineer with 5+ years of experience to create and launch new projects, develop visual solutions, and lead junior designers.
Responsibilities
- Primarily create and launch new projects together with the team of designers and artists
- Develop original visual solutions for interfaces
- Assign tasks and review the work of junior designers, ensuring quality execution
- Participate in the preparation of the design roadmap together with the Product Design Project Manager
- Generate creative ideas to visualize concepts and promote products/services
- Maintain a consistent visual brand style across all marketing projects
- Work with components and design systems in Figma
- Collaborate closely with front-end developers and the design team
- Conduct technical interviews for UI Designer candidates and onboard new hires
- In critical situations, take hands-on responsibility and execute tasks personally
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in design
- Strong sense of style and ability to harmoniously combine colors, typography, and composition
- Attention to visual detail and high accuracy in execution
- Team player with the ability to meet deadlines
- Genuine passion for gaming projects
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and responsive layout principles
- Experience designing for both complex systems and marketing-focused products
- Solid understanding of UI/UX principles, design guidelines, responsive design, Mobile First approach, and Design Thinking methodology
- Proficiency in working with design systems, component libraries, and style guides
- Experience with image editing and retouching
