Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to provide creative solutions. Design intuitive user experiences for visualizing and interacting with complex geospatial datasets.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to understand requirements, and provide creative, thoughtful solutions
- Communicate the user experience at various stages of the design process with wireframes, flow diagrams, storyboards, mockups, or high fidelity prototypes
- Integrate user feedback and business requirements into ongoing product experience updates
- Advocate for the prioritization of design centered changes, refinements, and improvements
- Design intuitive user experiences for visualizing and interacting with complex geospatial datasets (e.g., Vector and Raster) in 2D and 3D
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 4 years of interaction design experience in product design or UX design
- Experience with geospatial platforms, data visualization, gaming, or immersive 3D experiences
- Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume
- Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience (preferred)
- Experience in motion design and leveraging it for micro-interactions in product experience (preferred)
- Experience working with and contributing to design systems (preferred)
- Experience in geography, cartography or sustainability (preferred)
- Experience in developing interactive prototypes (preferred)
- Experience building accessible products (preferred)
Key Skills
- Experience with geospatial platforms, data visualization, gaming, or immersive 3D experiences
