UX Designer Intern

Interns will support the design, development, documentation, and debugging of user interfaces to optimize user experience. They will be involved in all development stages from ideation to on-truck validation.

Responsibilities

• Supports the design, develop, documentation, and debug process of the user interface to optimize user experience
• Articulates, develops, and models the end user experience including the visual design of the application, to make user interaction simple, efficient, and consistent
• Support the development and updates of our Design Systems
• Develop interactive prototypes of vehicle features
• Apply and embrace Design Thinking methodology in projects to deliver thoughtful output in design solutions

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program or higher from an accredited college/university OR have recently graduated within 1 year of the position start date (May/June)
• Strong expertise in software like Figma, Adobe Suite and other similar tools
• Experience developing and using Design Systems
• Prototyping (Figma, Protopie, etc.)
• Detail oriented, reliable, and self-motivated
• Attention to detail and an affinity to develop efficient and consistent user experience solutions
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Solid organizational skills
• Creative mindset
• Interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
