You will work with the Apple Maps design team and other partners to craft innovative features for navigation experiences. Your role involves advocating for the human experience from brainstorming through implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of partners to craft features that further delight and improve the way people get around.
  • Work with members of the Apple Maps design team, as well as our engineering, product, and QA groups, to advocate for the human experience as you craft innovative new features.
  • Build products that are not only amazing to look at, but also intuitive and useful to millions of people worldwide.
  • Address feedback through rapid iteration, clearly express your ideas with Keynote presentations, and present your work to an audience.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of work experience in a design studio or as a product designer with a portfolio showcasing iOS or mobile-based work.
  • Experience delivering digital products from start to finish, including working in an iterative design process with team feedback.
  • Ability to clearly communicate concepts and designs through sketches, wireframes, high-fidelity comps, and prototypes, using Sketch, Photoshop, Keynote, and similar tools.
  • Passion for detail and can apply principles of visual design like hierarchy, balance, and contrast to new interfaces.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and ability to present work to large groups and executives.
