Lead digital product design across Fender’s eCommerce platform and translate business goals and user needs into intuitive, user-centered design solutions. Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and the creative team to ensure continuity in delivery of product design expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead digital product design across Fender’s eCommerce platform.
  • Translate business goals and user needs into intuitive, user-centered design solutions.
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and the creative team to ensure continuity in delivery.
  • Evolve and scale responsive design systems across web touchpoints.
  • Contribute to and champion the refreshed Fender design language.
  • Present design work clearly and persuasively to stakeholders.
  • Balance large initiatives with iterative optimizations.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of digital product design experience with a strong UI/UX background in eCommerce.
  • Strong UX skills including information architecture, user flows, wireframes, and problem solving.
  • Excellent visual design skills with experience collaborating with brand/creative teams.
  • Experience working in Shopify and/or Contentful.
  • Proficiency in Figma and familiarity with Jira workflows.
  • Ability to self-direct and confidently present work in a lean, cross-functional environment.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving clarity through design.
  • Familiarity with Baymard Institute best practices and accessibility standards (bonus).
  • Passion for music or experience working with global consumer brands (bonus).
  • Experience designing lifestyle commerce-type products (bonus).
  • Multi-platform/multi-screen experience (bonus).

Key Skills
