The Senior Product Designer will craft intuitive tools for mental health providers to navigate insurance eligibility and claims processing. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver efficient and valuable solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, and Lead Product Designer to solve challenging problems
  • Lead the design of scalable, intuitive user experiences across devices
  • Apply service design and systems thinking to create higher-impact workflows
  • Understand and advocate for user needs through research activities
  • Share ideas through sketches, wireframes, prototypes, and design reviews
  • Collaborate cross-functionally in an agile environment
  • Contribute to Alma’s design system and best practices

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in product design or user experience design, ideally within healthcare, fintech, or another highly complex domain
  • Portfolio with case studies showcasing deep understanding of user needs, ability to translate complex systems into seamless experiences, and creative problem-solving
  • Fluent in digital design and prototyping tools, especially Figma
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment
  • Passionate about user research and accessibility/usability
