The Senior Product Designer will shape the design and development of user interfaces across various products. This role involves collaborating with engineering and product managers to create innovative features and improve user experiences.
Responsibilities
- Deeply understand customer needs, translating insights into innovative features.
- Collaborate with engineering to refine designs from wireframes to public release.
- Partner with product managers to ideate, define, and validate early-stage concepts.
- Conduct research, create prototypes, and validate assumptions with usability studies.
- Audit end-to-end user experience and propose initiatives to leadership.
- Design, grow, and maintain robust design systems.
Requirements
- Proven track record of working on complex, technical products with experience in desktop, web, mobile, or embedded interfaces.
- Clear understanding of human-computer interaction principles.
- Strong and diverse portfolio including early-stage ideation, user research, and pixel-perfect designs.
- Deep expertise with design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Interest in 3D printing, CAD, computational geometry, and/or related technologies (bonus).
- Experience with web technologies (bonus).
- Experience with Qt, QML, or OpenGL (bonus).
Key Skills
