Principal UX Designer (FWaaP)

As a Principal Product Designer, you will craft cohesive product experiences for Network Security within Strata Cloud Manager. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into effective design solutions.
Responsibilities
- Deliver and drive UX vision, along with a plan for evolutionary, iterative updates, that actualize the broader vision end to end over time.
- Analyze customer problems and oversee the design of delightful solutions that meet measurable business goals.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams, including product managers, engineering, QA, and researchers to translate business requirements into use cases, flows, wireframes, and high fidelity designs.
- Lead and collaborate with UX researchers on explorative and evaluative studies to enrich the product experience.
- Lead and collaborate with design systems engineers to implement new components into the library.
- Excellent visual design and prototyping abilities that supports innovative and experimental design culture.
- Contribute to a design system, maintain high quality UX standards for our products.
- Conduct product audits to ensure compliance with UX and Design System best practices.
- Push limits and consistently aim for better design solutions.
- Provide leadership, direction, and mentorship to the design team.
Requirements
- Understand user-centered design methodologies, have strong empathy for the users, and are committed to be their fierce advocate.
- Have an extraordinary aesthetic sense for beautiful designs and pay attention to all the details.
- Maintain constant curiosity on business aspects of the products, and utilize the knowledge to distill complex needs into elegant designs.
- Strong time-management skills; must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Understand how the north star design concepts get broken down into iterative sprints.
- Have a growth mindset and willingness to fail fast and learn.
- Constantly seeks feedback to improve; Focussed on solving issues.
- Possess humility and maturity; welcome candid feedback and are able to give constructive feedback as well.
- Deliver with industry-standard design tools: e.g. Figma.
- Have knowledge of and experience with working with UI teams using modern extended front-end web technologies.
- Own a design portfolio showcasing your excellent design work.
- Have a college degree in design, human computer interaction, or related fields.
- Have at least 5 years of experience.
- Experience with Pendo a plus.
- Experience with AI related design tools a plus (polymet, loveable).
