Principal Product Designer

Shape product strategy and drive experience excellence across web and mobile platforms. Mentor the design team while ensuring high-quality design execution and collaboration across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Shape product strategy: Partner with peers across product, marketing, and engineering to define product vision and influence roadmaps while keeping customers at the forefront
- Drive experience excellence: Lead the design of complex, cross-platform experiences (web and mobile) with a focus on clarity, accessibility, and delight
- Advance design systems: Leverage, evolve, and enforce our Design System to ensure consistency across platforms and touchpoints
- Mentor & up-level the team: Provide coaching, feedback, and thought leadership for designers of all levels, fostering a culture of craft and continuous learning
- Champion the customer: Use research, analytics, and user feedback to gain a deep understanding of user needs and translate insights into product innovation
- Influence cross-org collaboration: Build strong partnerships across product, engineering, and business and operations partners, facilitating alignment and raising the quality of outcomes across the company
- Evangelize design: Bring a strong point of view on product design and inspire the organization around the value of design and great user experiences
- Execute at a high level: Deliver high-fidelity visual and interaction designs in Figma, creating prototypes and UI systems that set the standard for excellence
- Push innovation: Stay ahead of design and technology trendsβespecially in mobile and AIβand bring forward new ideas
Requirements
- Proven experience designing consumer-facing products, including data-heavy dashboards or metrics (10+ years of experience)
- A portfolio that demonstrates strategic impact as well as excellent execution across multi-platform products
- Mastery of Figma and experience evolving and scaling design systems
- Experience influencing product direction and driving alignment across leadership
- Strong communication skills with an ability to articulate design decisions and advocate for design with teammates and stakeholders at all levels
- Expertise in user-centered design principles and best practices
- Skilled in strategic partnership with the ability to help identify opportunities, refine problems and solutions, and help the team deliver great customer experiences
- Familiarity with front end software development languages and practices, enabling smooth collaboration with engineers
- Past experience with real estate technology or financial services is a plus
