The Sr. Product Designer will define user experiences for internal tools and consumer-facing products, working closely with product management and engineering teams. They will track market trends, represent the voice of the consumer, and create meaningful UX deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Track market, consumer & industry trends, and competition.
- Represent the voice of the consumer.
- Engage with internal teams, customers & partners.
- Own overall end-to-end user experience - from the big picture down to specifics of UI layout.
- Identify and evaluate potential opportunities to improve web, apps, mobile and interactive designs.
- Create meaningful UX deliverables such as sketching, storyboards, sitemaps, wireframes, flowcharts, prototypes, presentations.
- Perform user research to test features and incorporate user feedback into design iterations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in product design, preferably within the payment or technology space.
- Demonstrated ability to distill simplicity from complex user requirements.
- Proficient user of design tools like Figma, Sketch, Invision, Photoshop, Marvel, Overflow, Mural.
- Proven experience with user research and translating insights from research to design.
- Proven experience defining, organizing, and hosting design thinking workshops.
- Exceptional communication and presentation abilities to interact across all levels of the business.
- Experience designing consumer-facing products and consumer engagement.
