Intern - UX Designer

Help design experiences that connect people with their data in meaningful ways. Interact with product managers and engineers to design various stages of the user experience of a product from conception to launch.

Responsibilities

• Help take broad, conceptual ideas and turn them into something useful and valuable.
• Design flows and experiences that are incredibly simple and elegant.
• Interact with product managers and engineers to design various stages of the user experience of a product from conception to launch.
• Present your work (from sketches to final design) and articulate your design decisions to the design team, product team, and even executives for review and feedback.
• Give and solicit feedback from other designers in order to continually raise our bar for quality.

Requirements

• College student currently enrolled in digital design, interaction design, UX design, or related programs.
• Self-starters who are motivated by challenges, driven by natural curiosity, and interested in solving big problems.
• Experience designing digital products, on web and mobile (experience with enterprise software a plus).
• Experience with the 'full-stack' of design skills, from needs finding, wireframing, UI design, writing, prototyping, and presenting experiences.
• Effective at understanding and breaking down complex ideas into simple ones, and combining them into novel solutions.
• Collaborates well with both designers and stakeholders, and communicates effectively when presenting and in writing.
• Familiarity with design tools like Figma.
• Learns quickly by jumping into the deep end, is unafraid of asking questions, and doesn’t quit before mastering both design skill and product know-how.
