The UX Designer will help shape the future of Fortnite and the broader Epic ecosystem by delivering wireframes, prototypes, and specifications. They will collaborate with various teams to ensure designs are engaging and functional at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver clear wireframes, flows, prototypes, and specifications to communicate design solutions
  • Participate in design critiques, usability testing, and iteration to ensure the best player experience
  • Contribute to design systems and shared patterns while applying them to your work
  • Communicate design ideas effectively, adapting the level of detail to the audience
  • Work collaboratively with UI Artists, Tech UI Designers, Engineers, and UX Researchers to develop features

Requirements

  • Experience contributing to end-to-end product experiences, with a strong understanding of UX fundamentals
  • Ownership of the craft and quality of your work, ensuring products meet a high bar
  • Passion for making and playing games, with a strong sense of player empathy
  • High level of self-motivation and commitment to personal growth and development
  • Portfolio of relevant design work that conveys experience in designing and shipping successful products across multiple platforms

Key Skills

  • Clear communication of design ideas and feedback with other designers and stakeholders
  • Experience with design tools and processes
  • Strong visual design and UI skills
  • Experience with design systems
  • Mobile-first design experience
