Interactive UI Designer (Figma, Interaction Design, Motion Design, Ceros)

An Interactive UI Designer role at Gallagher, responsible for delivering refined, responsive, and engaging user interface designs for web-based digital experiences.

Responsibilities

• User Interface Design: Create high-fidelity interface designs for responsive web experiences across Gallagher’s family of brands and customer segments, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines, accessibility standards, and visual consistency.
• Translate UX concepts and wireframes into polished, implementation-ready layouts and components.
• Design for consistency and scalability across pages, breakpoints, and platforms.
• Motion & Interaction Design: Design transitions, animations, and interactive states that support usability and enhance user engagement.
• Prototype motion behaviors and interactions using tools such as Figma and Ceros.
• Define and document repeatable motion patterns within the design system.
• Design System & Delivery Support: Contribute interactive components and visual patterns to the design system, helping expand its motion and behavior vocabulary.
• Partner with developers to ensure accurate translation of animations, transitions, and states into production.
• Deliver clean, structured layout designs and well-constructed components that support scalability and smooth implementation.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with UX, development, and content partners to align on requirements and iterate on solutions.
• Participate in design reviews, critique sessions, and sprint planning.
• Contribute to a shared culture of design quality and attention to detail.
• Quality & Implementation: Ensure visual fidelity and motion quality during implementation and QA.
• Maintain high standards for accessibility, responsiveness, and performance.
• Identify opportunities to refine and evolve visual and motion design patterns over time.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in UI design with a strong focus on web and interactive experiences, including working within enterprise CMS platforms such as Sitecore or Adobe AEM.
• Familiarity with HTML/CSS/JS and front-end development constraints.
• Experience with Figma.
• Advanced motion and interaction design skills, including transitions, behaviors, and animation systems.
• Proficiency in Figma and relevant motion/prototyping tools (e.g. Ceros).
• Strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility, and design implementation workflows.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
