The Graphic Designer will collaborate with the Melbourne menswear design team to support seasonal collections and product development, creating on-trend graphics for youth-focused ranges. They will also assist in design administration tasks and stay updated on emerging design trends.
Responsibilities
- Identify, interpret and implement global print and pattern trends
- Work collaboratively with apparel designers and apparel merchandise teams to grow sales
- Create commercial, customer focused, coordinated graphics for product ranges
- Work collaboratively with the Melbourne Design team and Suppliers to generate commercial artwork for mass production
Requirements
- Proven experience in menswear graphics and/or apparel design (minimum 2 years preferred)
- Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Ability to create tech packs and assist with garment development
- A strong understanding of trends and cultural references relevant to the trend/youth market
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks and timelines
- Proactive mindset with a collaborative and flexible approach
