Graphic Designer

As a Graphic Designer, you'll create designs that meet customer needs and reflect the brands' personalities. You'll work closely with the Creative Director and team to produce graphics for various media, focusing on digital design.
Responsibilities
- Participate with our team in the conceptualization, design, and creation of static and motion graphics and campaigns that visually communicate the look, personalities, and voices of our brands.
- Work closely with the Creative Director and Creative Team, to produce graphics for a wide array of media, including website, digital ads, packaging, and printed materials.
- Materialize creative ideas in graphics for promotions in emails, banners, ads, and other communication formats.
- Create a wide range of assets for third-party marketplaces such as Amazon, Chewy, etc.
- Create multimedia content (static, videos, GIFs, motion graphics, etc.) for product launches and campaigns.
- Design for specific social media formats like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.
- Help create and iterate packaging as our product line evolves.
- Provide accurate pre-press files to printers and other outside contacts.
- Other graphic design projects for product launches and promotion initiatives as needed.
Requirements
- 3+ yearsβ experience as a Graphic Designer.
- A strong portfolio that showcases your design skills and experience.
- Be a detail-oriented individual who has a keen eye for aesthetics.
- Strong knowledge of design principles, including typography, color theory, and layout.
- Expert mastery of knowledge with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Proficient with Adobe Premiere and After Effects.
- Understanding of typography, color theory, composition and usability principles.
- Be on top of current and future trends with a focus on brand-building and storytelling.
- Ability to interpret the different tones of voice of our brands and aid in their evolution.
- Maintain brand consistency while also meeting usability standards.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet business and user needs.
- Have excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Manage time effectively, ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university; or four years or more related experience; and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign in a Mac environment)

- Microsoft Office Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
