The Graphic Designer will help the Marketing Department ensure appropriate use of the library brand and develop graphics standards and products. Responsibilities include designing signage, producing digital and print materials, and working with vendors.
Responsibilities
- Designing temporary and permanent signage
- Producing digital and print materials, graphic elements, and quarterly newsletter
- Working with vendors to produce temporary and permanent signage, marketing materials, and promotional items
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree or its demonstrated equivalent
- Specialized coursework in graphic design and/or demonstrated successful graphic design work experience
- Three years successful work experience
Key Skills
- Working knowledge of Adobe InDesign and Illustrator

The Glen Ellyn Public Library serves a community of almost 28,000 people and is located about 20 miles west of Chicago. Currently, the library holds over 220,000 items, including books, magazines, DVDs, and CDs. It also subscribes to over four dozen online digital resources and conducts programs and events for all ages.
