As an Associate Graphic Designer, you will develop seasonal graphic collections and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency. You will also create production-ready artwork and participate in design reviews.

Responsibilities

  • Develop seasonal graphic collections including logos, prints, and embellishments across multiple product categories.
  • Contribute to concept development through trend research and the creation of graphic mood boards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including apparel design, merchandising, and product development) to ensure alignment with seasonal objectives and brand consistency.
  • Create production-ready artwork and collaborate with vendors to give clear and detailed comments on graphic submissions.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide creative input across the graphic and apparel design teams.
  • Help evolve and uphold the Roots design language while exploring new ideas that resonate with our customer.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in apparel graphic design, preferably in lifestyle or fashion brands.
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
  • Understanding of typography, color theory, print techniques, and visual storytelling.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills — able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for collaboration, paired with clear communication and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of and passion for the Roots brand and customer.

Key Skills
