Senior Graphic Designer

The Senior Graphic Designer will conceptualize and design a wide range of materials including web pages, marketing materials, and presentations. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs align with brand standards and effectively convey ideas.
Responsibilities
- Conceptualize, brainstorm, and design for a wide range of materials including web pages, content marketing material, social media, paid media, infographics, animations, videos, presentations, signage, and marketing materials
- Support the Product Development Team with creating, editing, and updating product instructions, product specification sheets, and product imagery and videos
- Design visual and editable templates for presentations, social media, proposals, and RFPs
- Translate strategic direction into high-quality design within an established brand identity
- Develop concepts and execute original content determining ideal usage of color, text, font style, imagery, and layout
- Transform complex information and data points into engaging infographics and visual assets
- Collaborate with marketing and cross-functional teams to ensure designs align with brand standards, accurately convey ideas, and represent Cryoport Systems effectively
- Partner with internal stakeholders to understand project objectives, clarify creative direction, and gather feedback throughout the design process
- Leverage design trends, market insights, and brand positioning to develop creative assets that align with business goals and resonate with target audiences
- Lead the maintenance and evolution of brand guidelines to ensure all visual communications reflect the Cryoport Systems brand identity
- Organize and maintain creative assets in a structured digital asset management system to ensure accessibility and version control
- Work independently and cooperatively on multiple projects, meeting deadlines and scheduling project implementation based on workload
Requirements
- BA/BS/BFA in graphic design or equivalent
- 8+ years in professional graphic design, preferably with 5+ years in the biopharmaceutical or life sciences field
- Proven experience in graphic design, photography, and video content creation with a portfolio that demonstrates creative range and technical proficiency
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro) and other relevant design tools
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 (PowerPoint, Word)
- Lifestyle and product photography skills are preferred
- Knowledge of WordPress and content management systems is preferred

- Ability to adapt design style and tone based on the audience, channel, or campaign objectives
- Detail-oriented with a strong eye for layout, typography, and visual hierarchy
- Strong attention to detail to ensure brand consistency and adherence to core design principles across all deliverables
- Skilled in capturing high-quality product and lifestyle imagery that aligns with brand aesthetics
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability for the quality and consistency of deliverables
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to take creative direction as well as offer design leadership
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with cross functional teams
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
