Child Care Non-Profit Hiring Remote Graphic Designer

The Graphic Designer will conceptualize, design, and produce a variety of visual materials while ensuring alignment with the organization’s brand guidelines. They will manage multiple projects under tight deadlines and provide ongoing brand guidance to internal teams and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, design, and produce a variety of visual materials, including research reports, one-pagers, white papers, brochures, digital assets, event collateral, and presentations.
• Ensure all designs are aligned with the organization’s brand guidelines, maintaining consistency and visual impact across all platforms.
• Provide ongoing brand guidance to internal teams and external partners, ensuring adherence to design best practices.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines while maintaining quality and creativity.
• Quickly iterate on designs based on stakeholder feedback, demonstrating adaptability and a solutions-oriented mindset.
• Work closely with the Senior Content Manager to develop and maintain production schedules.
• Support other departments by creating branded templates for internal and external presentations.
• Offer creative input and strategic recommendations to enhance visual storytelling across platforms.
• Design digital assets for social media, web, and email marketing, with a strong understanding of mobile-friendly and responsive design.
• Plan, shoot, and edit videos and podcasts to support campaigns, projects, and educational initiatives.
• Stay informed on design trends, new tools, and emerging best practices to continuously elevate the organization’s visual presence.
• Work with external vendors (printers, production houses) to ensure cost-effective and efficient execution of design projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a professional graphic design role.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
• Experience with motion graphics, video editing, and multimedia design (plus).
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment without compromising quality.
• Experience implementing and maintaining brand guidelines across various platforms.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with marketing platforms such as HubSpot (plus).
• Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for design integration.
• Comfortable taking feedback and iterating rapidly to meet stakeholder needs.
• Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring polished and professional outputs.
