Lead product design projects from concept to launch, contribute to Shipt's consumer product strategy, and mentor designers.
Responsibilities
- Lead the definition and delivery of product design projects from concept to launch
- Contribute directly to Shipt's consumer product strategy
- Provide guidance and mentorship to designers
- Partner with product and engineering to identify requirements, use cases, and user journeys
- Illustrate and communicate complex design solutions
- Use data from research, user testing, and market analysis to create user-centered designs
- Collaborate throughout the product development lifecycle
- Develop and maintain detailed design documentation
- Present work to stakeholders for review and feedback
- Paint a compelling vision for product area and influence partners
Requirements
- 7+ years experience designing consumer web and mobile experiences, e-commerce experience is a plus
- Portfolio with case studies showing generative ideation through to final solution with impact to customers and the business
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Craft leader with strong visual design and attention to design details
- Ability to partner with product and engineering to identify requirements, use cases, and user journeys
- Ability to illustrate and communicate complex design solutions
- Experience using data from research, user testing, and market analysis to create user-centered designs
- Experience collaborating throughout the product development lifecycle
- Experience developing and maintaining detailed design documentation
- Experience regularly presenting work to stakeholders for review and feedback
- Ability to paint a compelling vision for product area and influence partners
