Senior Product Designer / NYC Hybrid in Midtown

Senior Product Designer to shape the flagship product of a NYC-based Series B startup in the health and wellness space, focusing on new feature development and design system improvement.

Responsibilities

• Own the design of major features and initiatives, from initial sketches to high-fidelity mockups
• Directly collaborate with engineers to fully realize your designs
• Refine product vision and design process in collaboration with the 2 other Product Designers, as well as align closely with CEO, PM, and CTO on strategy and execution
• Establish foundational design systems and processes, ensuring they are consistent and user-centered
• Refine and improve designs based on data and user feedback
• Embrace learning and iteration in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

• Problem-solver with 4+ years of experience working on consumer-facing products and delivering beautiful, intuitive interfaces
• Ecommerce product experience, and case studies that reflect it
• Adaptable, thrives in fast-paced environments; ready to truly dive into every aspect of the product lifecycle
• Pays attention to “the small stuff” (focused down to typography, spacing, UI) to ensure easy, enjoyable experiences for all users
• A strong communicator, who is comfortable with feedback and thrives when working with team members
• Experienced in contributing to and managing design systems in Figma
• Skillfully balances consistency with creativity
