As a Senior Product Designer, you will shape the design of Babylist's registry experience, creating intuitive web and mobile platforms for users. You will collaborate with product and engineering teams to ship impactful features that enhance user experiences.
Responsibilities
- Help shape the design of Babylist's core product area: registry experience
- Design across web and mobile platforms to create intuitive experiences
- Work closely with product and engineering teams to ship impactful features
- Balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
- Ensure every interaction feels thoughtful and polished
- Contribute to the design system, creating reusable patterns
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a product designer
- Solid visual design skills with understanding of user flows and interaction design
- Portfolio including native mobile app design work alongside responsive web experiences
- Comfort managing ambiguity and breaking down complex problems into impactful solutions
- Understanding of crafting user journeys and making complex processes feel intuitive
- Championing empathy for users through lean research methods
- Interest in design systems and understanding of consistent components
- Care for details of design, interaction, and execution
- Utilization of qualitative and quantitative data to track and improve customer-centric metrics
