The Web Designer will translate various requirements into visually stunning and highly functional website designs while developing and implementing responsive websites using modern web technologies. They will ensure seamless user experience by optimizing website performance and functionality across different browsers and devices.
Responsibilities
- Translate various requirements into visually stunning and highly functional website designs that reflect our brand and serve our professional audience
- Develop and implement responsive websites using modern web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and CMS platforms
- Ensure seamless user experience by optimizing website performance and functionality across different browsers and devices
- Conduct thorough testing to identify and resolve any issues or inconsistencies in design and functionality
- Maintain website project documentation, including design assets, style guides, and technical specifications
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in web design, development, and graphic design
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand objectives, provide design recommendations, and ensure project success
- Create and maintain design systems and component libraries for consistent web experiences
- Implement security best practices and ensure websites meet modern security standards
Requirements
- Minimum of three years of professional experience in web design and development with a strong focus on front-end development
- Bachelor's degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or related field
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and experience with CMS platforms
- Strong graphic design skills, including proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD)
- Solid understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility
- Experience with user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design concepts
- Familiarity with SEO principles and web accessibility standards (WCAG)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities with proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- U.S. Citizenship is required
