The UX Researcher conducts user research studies to inform design and product management strategy. They advocate for user-centered design and work to improve key UX and business metrics.
Responsibilities
- Develop, conduct, and report insights from user research studies
- Utilize research methods such as contextual inquiry, interviewing, task analysis, competitive analysis, usability testing, surveys, statistical analysis, and card sorting
- Utilize data visualization software to analyze and disseminate quantitative data
- Educate the team on the latest usability research methods
- Evangelize user-centered design inside and outside the company
- Possibly include low-fidelity prototyping, heuristic reviews, and web analytics
Requirements
- Experience delivering research projects with measurable outcomes
- Knowledge of experimental design and research methods, usability principles, and interviewing techniques
- Self-starter with excellent time management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Collaborative and able to work across cultures and time zones
- Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Human Factors, Cognitive Science, Psychology, Data Science, or related fields
