Conduct in-depth research on competing products to evaluate user experience and monetization strategies. Analyze end-to-end payment journeys and identify best practices and innovation opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth research on competing products to evaluate user experience, monetization strategy, patterns, feature implementation, and overall product strategy.
- Reverse-engineer key product flows to identify best practices and innovation opportunities.
- Document and present detailed competitive benchmarks and UX assessments.
- Analyze end-to-end payment journeys, including checkout flows, subscription logic, and fraud prevention techniques.
- Identify and evaluate payment providers, billing infrastructure, and pricing strategies used by competitors.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in UX Research, Product Research, or a comparable role.
- Demonstrated ability to perform structured competitive research and technical analysis of digital products.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience in fintech, SaaS, e-commerce, or other digital-first product environments.
Key Skills
- Familiarity with design tools (e.g., Figma, Miro) and research platforms (nice to have).
- Experience in QA, or exposure to developer tools (nice to have).
- Basic scripting or automation experience (e.g., Python, JavaScript) is a plus (nice to have).
- Prior experience working in fast-paced, cross-functional environments (nice to have).
