UX Researcher

The UX Researcher will work with a cross-disciplinary team to conduct user research on innovative health applications. Responsibilities include moderating studies, synthesizing findings, and communicating insights to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Meeting with key stakeholders to understand key milestones for product development
• Working with recruiting vendors to recruit participants for a study
• Writing study plans that use appropriate methods to answer the key research questions
• Independently moderating user-research studies
• Quickly synthesizing research findings into insights that stakeholders can understand and act on
• Preparing report presentations and communicating research findings to a broad team of stakeholders
• Working with product, writing, design, and development teams to guide the development of products/prototypes
• Collaborating with other team members to build applications for cutting-edge smartphone and wearable solutions
• Helping provide documentation that includes a human factors validation plan
• Using research insights to help establish a roadmap for health strategy
• Leading, mentoring, and guiding other researchers on the team
• Work with your Manager on research priorities

Requirements

• 5-7 years (7+ years preferred) of UX Research/Human Factors experience
• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree
• Educational background in research-related domains, Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Anthropology, or comparable industry research experience, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
• Experience leading several research studies from end to end and throughout the development life cycle
• Experience using a variety of research methodologies
• Experience working closely with design and product functions
