UX Researcher | New York

The UX Researcher will plan, conduct, and synthesize qualitative and quantitative research across the product lifecycle. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand research needs and advocate for user-centric thinking in decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Plan, conduct, and synthesize qualitative and quantitative research across the product lifecycle
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand research needs and define research questions
• Choose appropriate research methodologies (interviews, usability testing, surveys, field studies, etc.)
• Analyze data, uncover trends, and translate findings into actionable insights
• Present research findings clearly and persuasively to stakeholders at all levels
• Advocate for the user and ensure user-centric thinking is embedded in all decision-making
• Maintain and grow a research repository and best practices documentation

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience conducting UX research in a product-driven environment
• Proficiency in research tools (e.g., UserTesting, Optimal Workshop, Dovetail, Maze)
• Solid understanding of both qualitative and quantitative research methods
• Strong communication and storytelling skills
• Experience working in agile product teams
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Anthropology, or a related field
