As an Experience Researcher, you will partner with product designers and researchers to plan and execute research across multiple customer touch points. You will assist in developing usability tests and interview protocols to inform product decisions.
Responsibilities
- Partner with product designers and other researchers to plan and execute qualitative and quantitative research
- Assist in developing usability tests, surveys, and interview protocols
- Participate in synthesis, co-design sessions, and research share-outs
- Collaborate with fellow Research & Beta team members to support smooth study execution and feedback collection
- Learn and apply Amazon's mechanisms for working backwards from customer needs
Requirements
- 1+ years of UX research or equivalent experience (internships, academic, design research welcome)
- BA/BS or equivalent in HCI, Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, Design, or a related field
- Foundational knowledge of common research methods (usability, interviews, surveys, basic analysis)
- Demonstrated ability to communicate research findings clearly through written reports, visual artifacts, and team presentations in collaborative settings
- Proficient written and verbal English language skills
Key Skills
- Exposure to streaming media, music tech, or creative tools
- Experience with tools like Lookback, Alida, dscout, Miro, or Figma
- Passion for music, fan culture, or the creator economy
