Mixed Methods UX Researcher

Design and execute end-to-end research across all stages of product development, collaborating with cross-functional teams. Communicate insights to senior stakeholders, influencing product direction and improving user experience.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute end-to-end research—quantitative and qualitative—across all stages of product development
- Work cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and data scientists to identify and prioritize opportunities
- Lead customized, high-quality studies that address both strategic and tactical questions
- Own the research process, including scoping, methodology selection, recruiting, prototyping, fieldwork, synthesis, and reporting
- Communicate insights clearly and persuasively to senior stakeholders and OpenAI leadership
- Build systems where needed—including scalable research frameworks or processes
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in user experience and/or market research
- Expertise in mixed methods, with fluency in qualitative techniques and quantitative approaches
- Track record of strong stakeholder collaboration
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience building systems or frameworks to scale research
- Comfort with ambiguity and operational mindset
- Proven ability to drive impact
- A mindset of ownership and accountability
