UX Researcher

The UX Researcher will create user-centered products and services by uncovering actionable insights into user behavior, motivations, and pain points. This role will inform design and product decisions, reduce development risks, and ensure solutions are grounded in real-world needs.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute qualitative and quantitative research methods such as interviews, surveys, contextual inquiries, field studies, and diary studies.
• Run moderated and unmoderated usability tests using appropriate tools (e.g. Usertesting.com, Maze, Lookback). Synthesize findings into actionable recommendations.
• Create personas, customer journey maps, and empathy maps to support design and strategic thinking.
• Research competitors' user experience practices, design conventions, and product strategies.
• Work closely with designers, product managers, developers, and business stakeholders to ensure research insights are considered throughout the product lifecycle.
• Translate findings into compelling narratives via workshops, visual reports, and presentations tailored to different audiences.
• Support the growth of research capability within the Amdaris design team by mentoring others, leading knowledge-sharing sessions, and contributing to internal frameworks and playbooks.
• Promote user-centered design and influence decision-making with data and empathy.
• Identify opportunities to embed research operations and improve how insight is captured, stored, and reused across teams.

Requirements

• Experience designing and conducting end-to-end user research across multiple project phases (discovery to validation).
• Strong ability to synthesize complex information and communicate findings clearly.
• Knowledge of UX research tools and methods (remote and in-person).
• Familiarity with agile environments and working in cross-functional teams.
• Strong understanding of accessibility and inclusion in research.
• Comfortable presenting to non-research audiences and senior stakeholders.
• Experience in consultancy, outsourcing, or agency settings (bonus).
