The UX Researcher will plan, design, and conduct user research to support web-based product development. They will collaborate with various stakeholders to identify research questions and analyze data to produce actionable insights.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, design, and conduct qualitative and quantitative user research to support the development of web-based products and features.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, developers, and other stakeholders to identify research questions and prioritize learning goals.
  • Use a variety of research methods such as user interviews, surveys, usability testing, card sorting, field studies, and heuristic evaluations.
  • Analyze and synthesize research data to produce actionable insights, personas, user journey maps, and opportunity areas.
  • Partner with designers during concept development and with developers during implementation to ensure research-backed decisions are honored.
  • Leverage web analytics, heatmaps, and session recordings to supplement primary research.
  • Support and drive continuous user feedback loops for iterative design improvements.
  • Communicate findings through compelling reports, presentations, and visual storytelling tailored to diverse stakeholders.
  • Promote a culture of user-centricity and contribute to the growth of research maturity across the organization.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in UX research, preferably in web-based product or digital platform environments.
  • Strong knowledge of both exploratory and evaluative research methods.
  • Hands-on experience planning and executing studies in fast-paced, Agile teams.
  • Ability to triangulate findings using data from multiple sources.
  • Familiarity with web implementation constraints (performance, accessibility, SEO).
  • Experience with research and testing tools (e.g., UserTesting.com, Lookback, Optimal Workshop, Maze, Dovetail).
  • Understanding of heatmap and analytics tools (e.g., GA4, Hotjar, Crazy Egg).
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence product decisions with clarity and confidence.
