Lead end-to-end mixed methods user research to advise on product improvements and define excellent customer experiences. Collaborate with various teams to drive UX strategy and ensure insights are actionable.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mixed methods user research towards advising on product improvements and defining excellent customer experiences
- Work closely with Design, Business, Product, Marketing, and Engineering teams to drive the UX strategy
- Employ engaging storytelling techniques to communicate research insights and recommendations
- Help drive key features, products, and initiatives based on company priorities
- Effectively manage and prioritize research planning through ambiguous and fast-changing environments
- Monitor the impact of insights generated and actively contribute to the UX Research practice at eBay
Requirements
- 5+ years of practical experience deploying qualitative and quantitative research methods
- M.A., M.S., or PhD in a human behavior related field
- Experience drawing from a variety of research fundamentals to impact design and product decisions
- Expert use of UX research tools
- Ability to assess and work through complex problems
- Exceptional communication and storytelling skills
- Experience working in large organizations and collaborating across diverse cross-functional teams is preferred
- Global research experience is a plus
