Conduct phone interviews and conversations with customers to gather feedback and understand their experiences with products. Assist in organizing user sessions and usability tests while developing qualitative research skills through mentorship.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct phone interviews and conversations with customers to gather feedback and understand their experiences with our products
  • Assist in organizing and supporting user sessions, focus groups, and usability tests under the guidance of senior team members
  • Build rapport with diverse customer groups to encourage honest, detailed feedback
  • Learn to document customer interactions and identify patterns in customer feedback
  • Shadow experienced researchers to develop qualitative research skills and methodologies
  • Work closely with Product and Analytics teams to understand how customer insights inform product decisions
  • Help prepare research summaries and contribute to presentations of findings
  • Develop skills in translating customer feedback into actionable insights with guidance from senior team members
  • Assist in organizing research data and maintaining research documentation
  • Participate in team discussions about user needs and research findings

Requirements

  • 0-2 years of experience in customer-facing roles such as customer service, sales, or similar positions requiring strong communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to build rapport and engage in meaningful conversations
  • Strong listening skills and ability to ask thoughtful follow-up questions
  • Strong documentation and organization skills with attention to detail
  • Genuine curiosity about customer behavior and motivations
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required for candidates with relevant experience
  • Comfort with basic technology tools and willingness to learn research-specific applications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Adaptability and enthusiasm for learning new skills and methodologies
