Senior Product Designer - 3 month FTC (ANZ / Remote)
Optimal Workshop • Remote
As a Senior Product Designer, you will shape the user experience and design strategy across project teams, collaborating with Engineers and Product Managers. Your role includes designing intuitive experiences, conducting user research, and ensuring smooth implementation of designs.
Responsibilities
- Design thoughtful, intuitive experiences that help our customers gain deeper insights
- Lead design work across the full product development lifecycle - from discovery through to delivery
- Partner closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and other Designers to shape roadmaps and prioritise work
- Conduct user research, run usability testing, and turn insights into design solutions
- Bring ideas to life through wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs
- Collaborate with Engineering to ensure your designs are implemented smoothly and accurately
- Work with Product Marketing and Customer teams to support product releases and communicate design decisions
- Contribute to and evolve our design system to ensure consistency and quality across the platform
- Champion the voice of the customer and advocate for great UX across the company
Requirements
- An experienced Product Designer who is collaborative, curious and considers the customer at every step
- Someone with the ability to lead design from discovery through to delivery
- An expert in interaction design
- Someone confident in conducting research with customers, and synthesizing their findings into actionable outcomes
- Someone with experience collaborating with front-end and back-end Engineers to bring projects to life
- A clear communicator who is great at finding the best way to share ideas with the team and the wider business
