Lead the end-to-end UX design process for Rakuten Senior's products and services, focusing on the senior demographic. Utilize the Human-Centered Design process to enhance user experience and accessibility.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end UX design process for Rakuten Senior's products and services, from upstream planning to execution
- Utilize the Human-Centered Design (HCD) process to deeply understand the characteristics and needs of the senior demographic and promote user-centered design with a focus on accessibility
- Leverage design guidelines from Google and Apple to improve UX and UI, contributing to enhanced business outcomes, user satisfaction, and loyalty
- Involve in the planning of socially impactful products
- Leverage Rakuten's unique ecosystem to develop innovative product concepts
- Drive forward-thinking solutions by actively adopting new technologies and trends
- Propose UX improvements based on data analysis
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience in UX or UI design
- Experience utilizing the Human-Centered Design (HCD) process in design
- Proven track record of contributing to business outcomes (e.g., improved conversion rates, retention rates, or user satisfaction) through UX/UI improvements
- Knowledge and practical experience in accessibility (e.g., WCAG, ARIA, color vision accessibility)
- Experience designing based on Googleβs Material Design and Appleβs Human Interface Guidelines
- Experience in planning and conducting user research and usability testing
- Proficiency in wireframe and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD)
- Experience creating user journeys and personas
- Experience building and managing design systems
- Experience proposing UX improvements based on data analysis
