Lead and manage platform system teams while driving cross-functional initiatives to establish best-in-class design and developer processes. Oversee the development and maintenance of a robust design system and ensure accessibility standards are embedded into workflows.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage Design for the DAP Tribe
- Work with Design leadership and cross-functional partners to align DAP strategy to overall business goals
- Help define the DAP design vision and align design teams efforts
- Drive design quality, practice, and offerings for DAP product line
- Lead and mentor a team of DAP designers through the end-to-end design process
- Own craft and capability output across key DAP projects
- Represent the needs and voice of the user wrt to DAP offering
- Act as a strategic partner to product and technology leads on DAP
- Assess performance and provide career guidance for members of the DAP design team
Requirements
- 5-7 years relevant industry experience
- 2-3 years of experience managing designers with a player-coach hands-on mentality
- Experience creating environments for high-quality, creative, hypothesis-driven work
- Proven experience with human-centered design processes
- Strong communicator and team player
- Deep commitment to design excellence and attention to detail
- Strong portfolio representing outcomes of your approach and shipped work
