Work closely with product and engineering teams to understand user needs and pain points. Prototype and iterate on design solutions based on feedback to improve usability and effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the product and engineering teams to understand the needs and pain points of learners and tutors.
- Prototype and iterate on design solutions based on feedback from users and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to maintain a balance between innovation and practicality.
- Contribute to the evolution of Preply's Design System by incorporating design patterns and guidelines.
- Actively participate in cross-functional discussions and workshops to share insights and learnings.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5+ years of professional Product Design experience.
- Experience building consumer-facing, mobile-first products with ongoing and frequent use.
- Experience in conducting and leading research, and leveraging insights to do excellent product detective work.
- Strong communication skills to effectively present your work and bring key stakeholders on board.
- Experience handing off work to engineers and fostering a mindset of collective ownership and effort.
- A portfolio to help understand your skills and experience as a designer.
