UX Designer Team Lead (Temporary)

The UX Designer Team Lead will manage a small team of designers to audit, organize, build, and maintain Figma libraries. They will oversee the design process, mentor team members, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement design systems that ensure consistency and efficiency across products.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of design systems and style guides.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and design leadership to define project needs and translate them into insightful and pragmatic solutions.
- Oversee design operations, including project timelines, resource allocation, and workflow optimization.
- Communicate with various stakeholders by integrating design best practices that inform work through that thoughtfully reflects brand guidelines.
- Work directly with Product Leads in collaboration with the cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional design solutions that align with business objectives and user needs.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior and mid-level designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative design culture.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies, and proactively apply them to enhance our products and processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in UI/UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in design systems and a deep understanding of product design and methodology.
- Experience with design tools such as Figma, Adobe Illustrator, and other relevant software.
- A consistent track record of designing intuitive, engaging, simple, and aesthetically pleasing user interfaces and experiences for web applications.
- Experience applying user-centered design principles and best practices.
- Expert knowledge of user-centered design processes and UX skill sets with expertise in either UX or interaction design.
- Strong ability to work with people at all organizational levels and be comfortable in a remote environment.
