Sr. UX Designer - 6 month contract

Lead the UX redesign of core web-based and mobile software products while collaborating with stakeholders and users. Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to enhance the user experience and ensure design feasibility with software engineers.
Responsibilities
- Own the customer journey and user experience, representing the voice of the customer in collaboration with Point of Rental’s business stakeholders, product managers, and software engineers in partnership with product design.
- Lead the UX redesign of core web-based and mobile software products.
- Create wireframes, rapid prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to communicate ideas and solutions.
- Create a flexible design system to ensure a consistent experience across the product and user interactions.
- Collaborate closely with the team to refine requirements and ensure designs solve user problems effectively.
- Partner with software engineers to ensure design feasibility and a seamless implementation process.
- Lead a regular, weekly cadence of design reviews to showcase the user experience to stakeholders and receive iterative feedback.
- Perform usability testing to validate and refine designs.
- Balancing simplicity, functionality, and aesthetic quality to deliver best-in-class user experiences.
Requirements
- 7-10 years of experience in UX product design with proven experience leading UX modernization efforts (B2B SaaS experience preferred).
- Experience modernizing large-scale, complex enterprise software.
- Proficiency in Figma, with a strong portfolio demonstrating your design process and results.
- Ability to create user-centered designs informed by research, data, and feedback.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience enabling software engineers to ensure seamless integration of design assets and design systems.
- Experience performing usability testing to inform design decisions.

- Experience using AI in your design process is an advantage.
